Reconstruction Problems
Katherine Williams Booth
How much structure can we recover with limited information about a map? These reconstruction problems can be both surprising in how much structure can be built up, but also very sensitive to slight variations. In this talk, I will discuss iterations of this type of problem from several different areas, including complex analysis, Riemannian geometry, algebraic geometry, and geometric group theory.
