This traditional social dance has its roots in English and Scottish country dance, featuring live music, gender-neutral calling, and line dances for anyone and everyone to enjoy. Each dance will be taught, rehearsed, and then danced to live music. Hosted in partnership with the Ann Arbor Community for Traditional Music and Dance (AACTMAD).
Doors open at 5:30 pm with beginner’s instruction at 6 pm. Contra Dancing from 6:30 pm – 9 pm. All levels are welcome, no experience or partner necessary.
