Leela Corman is a painter, comics-maker, and educator, working in the realms of New York City history, Polish-Jewish & Ashkenazi history, and third-generation restorative work. Her books include Unterzakhn (Schocken-Pantheon, 2012), You Are Not A Guest (Fieldmouse Press, 2023) and Victory Parade (Schocken-Pantheon, 2024). Join Leela for a talk about her work in comics, her research and painting process, and her many influences and obsessions.
