Abstract: I will discuss some numerical evidence for part of the Bloch-Beilinson conjecture for zero cycles on a product of elliptic curves over a number field, namely the injectivity of the Abel-Jacobi map modulo torsion. These examples were computed around ten years ago (in joint work with V. Srinivas) but never published. To a large extent, this work has been superseded by recent work of Valia Gazaki and Jonathan Love, nevertheless the original examples and methods (which are somewhat different) may be of some interest.
