The Department of Psychiatry and the U-M Addiction Center are pleased to present Mind Matters: Understanding the Recovery Journey through Science and Personal Stories.

Recovery from substance use is not one-size-fits-all—it is a deeply personal journey built around a person’s strengths, talents, and values. At U-M, any first steps toward recovery are based on the latest research, successful models of care, as well as the wisdom of recovering individuals who’ve walked the path themselves. Join us for an event that centers this journey of recovery and includes both the latest research insights as well as personal stories of those who are currently in recovery.

Mind Matters is a free, virtual community education series for individuals living with a mental health condition as well as their loved ones. Join us in real-time via Zoom to learn more about the topic of recovery from substance use.
