U-M EHS Campus Fire Safety Month - Live Burn Trailer
Learn how to properly use a Fire Extinguisher
The U-M Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Annual Campus Fire Safety Month event will take place Wednesday, September 18th in East University Plaza near the West Hall arch, 1101 S. University Ave.
There will be a live fire demonstration at noon!
Use a fire extinguisher to put out a live fire, learn more about keeping yourself safe, enjoy ice cream, games and giveaways!
The "Know 2 Ways Out" campaign calls attention to the need for each of us to identify 2 potential escape exits when entering a space.
EHS is partnering with the Division of Public Safety & Security, campus units, local fire departments and other safety organizations to bring a burn trailer onto campus which will demonstrate how quickly flames spread through a space during a fire event.
