Student Machine Learning Seminar and Reading Group Planning Meeting

Machine learning/AI has become a crucial tool in research. Regardless of whether you’re from a more theoretical or applied research background, you may have already applied ML to your field or are curious to learn more about it. It’s time to have a student seminar dedicated to learning and discussing ML in the math/stats department!

Shirlyn, Kashvi and Chinmaya, PhD students from the math department are organizing this seminar. This planning meeting will be an opportunity to share ideas, discuss possible topics, and identify potential speakers to make this seminar as impactful as possible. There will also be discussions about the possibility of having ML focused reading groups. Everyone is welcome to attend.
