Bénédicte Boisseron talks about her experience in researching and navigating mixed race, and if/how identity has influenced her roles as scholar/teacher/author/mentor/parent, etc.
Boisseron is chair of the Department of Afroamerican and African Studies, professor of Afroamerican and African Studies, and professor of Romance Languages and Literatures. Her related publications include "Neither White nor Black but Some Sort of Freegan," and "Creole Renegades Rhetoric of Betrayal and Guilt in the Caribbean Diaspora."
