In collaboration with the Ann Arbor Symphony, the Piano Department at the School of Music, Theatre and Dance is proud to present pianist Yekwon Sunwoo as a guest master teacher to several Piano Department students.

11:05 am - Yijing Xu (Sophomore), playing Rachmaninoff: Etude in E-flat minor, Op. 33, No. 6, Prelude in G major, Op. 32, No. 5, Prelude in B-flat major, Op. 23, No. 2
11:40 am - Julia Shen (MM), playing Liszt: Dante Sonata
In 2017, Mr. Sunwoo was the first Korean pianist to take the gold medal in the Van Cliburn international Piano Competition, and he has since established a world-wide career as a soloist.
