Panel on Incarceration, Racism, and Health
Curious about how incarceration, race, and health intersect—particularly for women and pregnant people?
Join BMEC on November 15th at 5:30 PM at the School of Public Health Room 1020 for a compelling panel discussion featuring leaders from the fields of healthcare, birth work, and criminal justice. In collaboration with the Prison Birth Project, Students4Decarceration, and the Lookout Project, we’re welcoming panelists to explore the impacts of systemic racism and incarceration on health as well as educate us all on resources for advocacy. Dinner from Jerusalem Garden will be provided, so please RSVP by November 11th. We look forward to seeing you there 🩵
