Fall Organ Improvisation Concert
Students from the fall semester Organ Improvisation class will present a concert of their projects from their work in the course. Performers will showcase Baroque-era structures such as passacaglia and fugal exposition, as well as forays into 20th century harmony including Messiaen’s Second Mode of Limited Transposition. Join us to hear their creative and scholarly masterpieces, and get in the holiday spirit with Advent and Christmas carols arranged à la Messiaen.
The concert will be split between Studio 2110 and Blanche Anderson Moore Recital Hall.
