DE Seminar: Existence results of the two-phase magnetohydrodynamic equations

Tian Jing (University of Michigan)

In this talk, we consider the two-phase magnetohydrodynamic equations in bounded domains. The two fluids are incompressible, viscous and are separated by a free sharp interface. The surface tension is considered. We will discuss the concepts of strong solutions and varifold solutions, and then introduce the existence results of them.
