"Food as Freedom” will kick off the 2025 Food Literacy for All course, which is being organized around the theme “Food and Care". This event is a part of the annual "Food as Resistance" partnership between Michigan Dining and Food Literacy for All and will feature Tambra Raye Stevenson, a nutrition educator, policy advisor, and food justice activist. Join us for Stevenson’s one-hour lecture and a reception catered by Michigan Dining, featuring dishes with personal connections to the identities and culture of the Michigan Dining staff preparing them.
The event will be located in the Michigan Union Ballroom. Food service begins at 5:30PM and the speaker, and livestream, will begin at 6:30PM.
