That same year, the much-acclaimed Jewish Cooking in America, which in 1994 won both the James Beard Award and the IACP/Julia Child Cookbook of the Year Award, was named an IACP classic. In 2022, Nathan was included in the Forward 125: The American Jews who shaped our world. Nathan is also a regular contributor to The New York Times and Tablet Magazine.
