Curious about digital accessibility? Want to learn how you can make your web content more accessible? Join Tech Shop staff member and Student Digital Accessibility Specialist, Irene, to learn more and get your questions answered. The presentation will cover:
- What is digital accessibility?
- What is assistive technology?
- General principles for designing and developing for accessibility
BYOD: Encouraged! There are some resources featured in the presentation that you may want to download to your personal devices. Additionally, bring anything you are designing or developing for accessibility advice.
Who: Open to all
When: Thursdays at 3 p.m. (lasting 20-30 minutes, with option for Q&A and personal consulting to follow)
Where: Michigan Union | Ground Floor
