Resilient Voices: Addressing Systemic Ableism and Racism in Healthcare and Beyond
This discussion-based event will focus on the intersectional experiences of Black people with disabilities within the healthcare system and beyond. Throughout the conversation, recordings of community members sharing their experiences will be aired. We will discuss not only the compounded challenges, but also the strength and resilience of these communities, as well as share resources and recommendations. Light refreshments will be served.
