An LGBTQ+ Mental Health Awareness Concert

Threads Woven is a multidisciplinary event that includes dance, poetry, electronics, instrumental music, and visuals. The concert contains five premieres that go through the experiences with self-identification and mental health struggles.

Featuring original compositions by graduate student in composition Rj Dion, and performances by OUT Ensemble, Lauren Blair Smith Dance Company, the Myriad Project, Stuart MacKenzie and Rj Dion.

This event will also have university and local resources tabling before the performances.

Presented with support from the SMTD EXCEL Lab, the SMTD Wellness Program, the U-M Eisenberg Family Depression Center, and the U-M Arts Initiative.
