You're invited to a special seminar titled "Design Principles of Living Membranes," presented by Dr. Ilya Levental, Professor in the Department of Molecular Physiology and Biological Physics at the University of Virginia. The event will take place on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 4:00 PM in the Kahn Auditorium of the Biomedical Science Research Building (BSRB). Dr. Levental will explore the structure and function of cellular membranes, offering insights into the fundamental design principles that govern these essential biological systems. A reception will follow the seminar in the ABC Seminar Rooms, providing an opportunity to continue the conversation and connect with others in the community. All are welcome to attend.
