The Constitution and the Second Trump Administration's Assault on Immigrants' Rights

Commemorating Constitution Day

Please join us for a lecture commemorating Constitution Day. Lee Gelernt, Deputy Director of the American Civil Liberties Union Immigrants' Rights Project, will speak on "The Constitution and the Second Trump Administration's Assault on Immigrants' Rights." Mr. Gelernt, drawing on his three decades of experience doing civil rights work at the ACLU, will provide a behind-the-scenes look at the Trump II policies and the ongoing high-profile litigation around immigrants’ rights. There will be particular focus on the Trump Administration’s unprecedented – and in his view unconstitutional – use of the Alien Enemies Act.
