Many of us have read stories or seen movies featuring gods, goddesses, and heroes from Greek and Roman mythology. But how was this mythology incorporated into the lives of ancient people? In this tour, we’ll look at such artifacts as vases, lamps, and sarcophagi—featuring images of Athena, Herakles, Dionysus, and more—and consider how this mythology was experienced by everyday people.

This event is free and open to all visitors. If you have any questions or concerns regarding accessing this event, please visit our accessibility page at https://myumi.ch/zwPkd or contact the education office by calling (734) 647-4167. We ask for advance notice as some accommodations may require more time for the university to arrange.
