Join us for a collections history tour of the Kelsey Museum! Did you know that 60 percent of our artifacts come from University of Michigan excavations? That means we have incredibly detailed contextual information for many objects in our collection. In this tour, docent Dave Horrocks will provide an entertaining look at a dozen objects and their varied journeys to the Kelsey Museum—whether by excavation, donation, or purchase—from their ancient Mediterranean and Mesopotamian origins.
