Abstract: I will describe recent work-in-progress with Tony Feng in which we compare the Fargues–Scholze local Langlands correspondence to Kaletha's local Langlands correspondence for non-singular tame supercuspidal representations. The main underlying theorem is an explicit special case of Langlands functoriality, which we prove by leveraging Feng's recent results on "modular functoriality" several times.
