Frequency Fridays: Tape Loop Workshop
Creating tape loops with cassette tapes
This workshop walks you through the steps to make looping cassettes tapes. Drop in anytime between 2 and 3pm.
You'll be supplied with some tools/instruments to create sounds, and instructed in techniques for creating tape loops by disassembling the case, cutting and splicing the tape, and reassembling the cases to create looping cassettes that you can take home with you.
Frequency Fridays is a weekly media workshop series, every Friday from 2-3pm in the Design Lab PIE Space on the first floor of Shapiro. Workshops will feature instruction in music production, video editing, sound design, motion graphics, and more. All skill levels welcome.
