Hacks with Friends 2026
Register to participate in Hacks with Friends 2026 (HWF) – a fun-filled event where you have two days to break out of your normal routine, join a team, build a project (or hack) from scratch, and show it off in a competition. This year’s event will take place on Thursday, March 5, and Friday, March 6, at the Ross School of Business.
Sponsored by the U-M Office of the Vice President for IT and CIO, HWF is open to staff and faculty across all four University of Michigan campuses who work with, contribute to, or utilize tech and IT in ways that advance the institution's mission. Whoever you are… we invite you to be a part of this “hackathon.” You never know — you might start something that could develop into a new technology that would benefit the entire university.
