Interested in writing better theatre scripts? Want your dialogue to feel more representative and respectful? Learn some tips for making your dialogue more authentic! No experience necessary!

NERDS (Not Even Really Drama Students) have created Intersectional, Queer, student-crafted musical theatre at the University of Michigan since 2016, and are excited to share some of their knowledge and skills with you, regardless of your skill level. Bring your laptop or something to write with, and NERDS will help you develop theatre dialogue that sounds authentic.

The Arts Initiative's "Learn/With" workshops are designed to give students a chance to explore an artform or skill that's new to them by learning with their peers in one of U-M's many student arts orgs. Take a chance and see what you learn!
