The Kelsey Museum is home to an impressive number of artifacts that give insights into the everyday lives of people living in ancient Mesopotamia, Egypt, and the Roman world. This tour will look at carefully excavated and curated artifacts—which their original owners would be shocked to see on display behind glass in a temperature-controlled building. In fact, some of these items would have been considered trash or recyclables! Check your hoarding tendencies at the door and join us as we learn more about the priceless everyday artifacts at the Kelsey.
