The 2026 Friends of Opera Competition Winners' Recital will feature performances from the undergraduate and graduate student winners of the annual Friends of Opera competition, which took place in October. Each year, the competition awards cash prizes and is made possible by the annual giving of the Friends of Opera. This year, the John Knapp Undergraduate First Prize winner is Isaiah Liggins (BM ’27) and the Anna Chapekis Graduate First Prize winner is Grace Ryan (MM ’26).

The recital will be from 5:00 to 6:30 pm in Britton Recital Hall, with a reception following in the Brehm Pavilion at 7:00 pm. Both events are open to the public and registration is encouraged.
