Mental health experts from the Michigan Medicine Department of Psychiatry are hosting this practical webinar for parents, family members, and caregivers who want to better understand what it looks like when the kids in their lives are struggling and what they can do to help.

You’ll learn common signs of distress in youth, how those concerns can present differently at different ages, and how to respond in supportive and effective ways. You’ll learn tips for handling a mental health crisis, including how to navigate the mental healthcare system. This webinar will share family-centered strategies for building resilience and community to support your child’s health—and your own—in the long term.

This event is brought to you in partnership with the Alumni Association of the University of Michigan.
