Michigan Youth Chamber Singers / Michigan Youth Treble Singers
These ensembles are part of the Michigan Youth Ensembles program, which brings together exceptional high school and middle school students for weekly rehearsals at SMTD.
The Michigan Youth Chamber Singers (MYCS) is a select SATB choir composed of outstanding vocalists from across the region. Students interact with U-M SMTD faculty and graduate students to perform challenging standard chamber choir repertoire. MYCS is open to advanced high-school aged singers.

The Michigan Youth Treble Singers (MYTS) is a select treble choir composed of outstanding middle school vocalists from across the region. Students interact with U-M SMTD faculty and students to perform repertoire from a wide variety of styles and time periods. MYTS is open to middle-school aged singers with unchanged voices.
