Enjoy the first performance by the young artists of the MPulse Jazz Institute at Pierpont Commons. The students will display newly-learned skills, and compete for a special recording opportunity in collaboration with the Duderstadt Center Studios.

Directed by SMTD Professor Dennis Wilson, the MPulse Jazz Institute is an all-encompassing, week-long program for the high school jazz musician. Classes are led by University of Michigan Jazz Faculty, SMTD applied faculty and professional jazz artists.
