Artist Elaine S. Wilson will describe her ongoing project, Charting the Wolverine, from its inception in 2008 to its current state with 31 “map-prints” and over 240 watercolors created. She'll describe her research of historic atlases and maps and her adventures on the back roads of Michigan and Indiana along the railroad tracks making watercolors and drawings. Charting the Wolverine is a series of digital prints about what you see when you ride Amtrak's Wolverine train from Ann Arbor, MI to Chicago.
