Safe Medication and Sharps Disposal Event
U-M College of Pharmacy Community Health and Engagement
From hosting flu vaccine clinics to administering safe medication disposal events, our students actively participate in community service.
Event Information:
PDC and APhA Medication and Sharps Disposal – Ingalls Mall North (881 N University Ave) Join us for a medication take-back event ! Community members will be able to dispose of unused or expired medications and used sharps (needles, syringes, and lancets). Proper disposal helps protect the environment, reduce accidental poisoning, and prevent misuse of prescription drugs.

In celebration of the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy’s 150th Anniversary, 150 Acts of Service is a Community Health and Engagement (CHE) campaign dedicated to strengthening our communities through meaningful, hands-on service.
