Experience the history of ancient Egypt in this engaging introductory gallery tour. Through works of art and everyday objects, we’ll explore how Egyptians understood identity, power, religion, daily life, and the afterlife. Along the way, we’ll look closely at hieroglyphs, symbols, materials, and artistic conventions while considering what these objects reveal, what questions they leave unanswered, and why ancient Egyptian artifacts continue to fascinate audiences thousands of years later.
