Plant an oak and help steward our landscapes into the next 250 years. As part of U-M Climate Week and the University of Michigan’s celebration of the United States’ 250th anniversary, we’re inviting our community to plant native oak trees and help support resilient ecosystems for generations to come.

Register to receive a free oak seedling to plant at home and learn how to give it a strong start. Oaks provide food and habitat for an extraordinary range of insects, birds, and other wildlife.
