U-M College of Pharmacy Community Health and Engagement
From hosting flu vaccine clinics to administering safe medication disposal events, our students actively participate in community service.
Event Information:
Pharmacy at the Pharmers Market. Free screenings, health education, and seasonal wellness support
Safety starts with education and it’s never too early or too late to learn. Join us for Safety Saturday, an inclusive event for all ages focused on building safer, healthier communities through open conversation and practical education. We’ll provide safer-sex education and access to condoms, Plan B emergency contraception, and Opill birth control, along with information to help you make informed decisions.
We’re also partnering with The Lookout Project, which will share information about naloxone (Narcan) and provide education on harm-reduction strategies. The more we talk, learn, and share knowledge, the safer we can all become. Everyone is welcome! Supplies available while quantities last. Age or eligibility requirements may apply to certain products.
Students from the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy are excited to bring health and wellness straight to your community. Stop by, ask questions, and let’s make healthy living simple and fun, right here at the Ypsilanti Farmers Market!
