Student AIM Seminar: An Introduction to Agent-Based Modeling and NetLogo
Lorelei Linkel
Developed in 1999, NetLogo is a low-threshold open source software created for agent-based modeling. Used as both a teaching device and a resource for domain experts, NetLogo can be a valuable tool for math communication. In this workshop, we give an introduction to agent based modeling and the development of NetLogo, cover current usage in the field, try it out, and discuss continued relevance of such tools in the time of AI.
