SMTD@UMMA: The Quietest of Whispers
In conjunction with UMMA's exhibition of HE: The Hergott Shepard Collection (on view February 14 - June 14, 2015) which explores Western visions of masculinity and sexuality in the modern era, composer Evan Ware presents works by men born of anguish, vulnerability, and healing, including Ware’s own celebrated symphony The Quietest of Whispers, performed by SMTD students and conducted by Kevin Fitzgerald.
