Featuring non-American composers, the Contemporary Directions Ensemble will perform colorful and varied works by Clarice Assad, Ingrid Stölzel, Enrico Chapela, Narong Prangcharoen, and Edgar Varèse. The performance will open with 5678 by PhD candidate Michael Schachter the 2016 winner of the Brehm Competition for Instrumental Composition Competition.
