Luciano Berio composed his renowned Sequenza VII for solo violin especially for Francesco D’Orazio, who has performed it all over the world. Considered Italy’s most famous violinist of contemporary music today, D’Orazio will perform a concert of new music for solo violin by Italy’s leading composers and French composer Pierre Boulez.

A Q&A session will follow, moderated by composition Professor Michael Daugherty.
