The U-M we know is a product of the auto age, its campus, its scholarship, and its politics all remade by Michigan’s defining industry and the sweeping changes it unleashed. Professor Kevin Boyle (Northwestern University) will explore this history in his talk "Money Matters: Remaking U-M in the Auto Age."

This LSA Bicentennial Theme Semester event is presented with support from the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts and the University of Michigan Bicentennial Office. Additional support provided by the Department of History and the Eisenberg Institute for Historical Studies.
