We will continue to discuss sections 2.2 and 2.3 of Benedetti and Varbaro's 2014 "On the dual graph of Cohen-Macaulay algebras." We will complete our discussion of the associativity formula, review linear Artinian reduction, and give an argument for Lemma 2.5. Lastly, we will give definitions and background necessary to understand Corollary 2.10. Many parts of this week's seminar may be interesting independent of the rest of the seminars on this paper.
