Density bounds for two-radius packings of disks in the plane.
A packing of disks in the plane is a non-overlapping arrangement of disks. We will consider how well a packing consisting of disks of two distinct radii can cover the plane. After a gentle introduction to the topic, we will move on to a summary of advances and a brief survey of methods since the 1940s. We will then consider current work in progress.
