Community Engagement Workshops
Maximizing Impact with Strategic Course Design
Part of CRLT's Seminar Series, this is the 3rd of 3 Community Engagement workshops open to faculty and GSIs teaching, or planning to teach, a community-engaged course.
This co-led workshop will offer a hands-on approach to curricular design for faculty either developing new community-based learning courses or transforming existing courses. Those beginning with course ideas will be introduced to tools designed to move from the conceptual stage to the articulation of concrete learning goals and activities. Those seeking to revise existing courses will share common challenges, explore evidence-based strategies, and workshop ways for applying these strategies to their own courses. Please bring your course idea or a working syllabus.
