Random normal matrices II

This is a continuation of a previous talk: In this talk we plan to survey some recent and not-so-recent results on random normal matrices. Particular emphasis will be given to the so-called normal matrices with algebraic potential, which are intimately connected with seemingly unrelated topics such as quadrature domains, Laplacian growth and inverse potential problems. Speaker(s): Guilherme Silva (University of Michigan)
