All-day workshop presented by Hardy Merriman, President, and Deborah Mathis, Director of Communications, of the International Center on Nonviolent Conflict.

Learn about the following at this interactive and informational workshop:

National and international examples of nonviolent movements struggling for rights, freedom, and justice
Key research about the effectiveness and outcomes of nonviolent movements
Movements strategy, tactics, and communications
Different roles and leadership within nonviolent movements

Free and open to all U-M undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and staff. Lunch and snacks will be provided.
