Banned Together: A Censorship Cabaret
The Department of Theatre & Drama, in conjunction with the Dramatists Legal Defense Fund, will present this showcase of songs and scenes that have been banned from American stages, in order to raise awareness about censorship and free expression in theater. The performances will feature selections from Cabaret, Chicago, Almost, Maine, Rent, and Angels in America, among other notable works.

Professor Robert Najarian is directing the show and the cast will be comprised of actors from the Department of Theatre & Drama, the Department of Musical Theatre, and from the local professional community.
