Join us for an arts workshop centering hardcore journaling, zines and the work of queer and trans artists of color. Participants will have an opportunity to learn about zines and "journalcore", also known as hardcore journaling, as an artistic medium to express gender identity. After personal reflection, folx will have the chance to create a collaborative zine that explores what gender means to them. We will also get an opportunity to learn about and view some of the zines the University Libraries have in collection.

Our workshop facilitator is Pau Venadito, a genderqueer chicanx artist.
