Gifts of Art & MHealthy present Free Drop-In Yoga & Meditation
In this free, drop-in beginning yoga & meditation workshop, an MHealthy instructor will teach the alignment and technique at the foundation of yoga practice. The workshop will encourage relaxation, strength, flexibility and balance with an emphasis on integrated breathing techniques in a variety of poses and postures. Three more exercise & relaxation workshops in the courtyard will be offered this summer: Zumba & Line Dancing 7/19/18, Sampler Class 8/2/18, and Tai Chi & Meditation 8/9/18. The workshops, which are open to faculty, staff and the general public, are family friendly and perfect for all fitness levels and abilities; no prior experience is required. A shaded patio is available for people to participate in chairs/wheelchairs. Rain/heat location: MCHC Auditorium, F2305.
