In this free, drop-in Tai Chi & Meditation workshop, an MHealthy instructor will teach peaceful, flowing, low impact, body movement which is great for stress relief, calming and centering. This class will offer enjoyable mental and physical exercise that improves strength, balance, health and memory. As a moving meditation, it promotes mental focus and mind/body connection. The workshop, which is open to faculty, staff and the general public, is family friendly and perfect for all fitness levels and abilities; no prior experience is required. A shaded patio is available for people to participate in chairs/wheelchairs. Rain/heat location: MCHC Auditorium, F2305.
