During this workshop, you will gain a strong understanding of the basic principles of mixed methods research - what, why, and how. After learning basic concepts, you will have time to work under the guidance of Dr. Wu and in collaboration with your peers, to develop rigorous qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods research aims and an accompanying research design - you will then summarize these aims and design in a study diagram.

Bring your ideas whether it be a current research project or a topic that has been brewing in your mind. You should leave with a clearer, sharpened research concept that you can continue to work on with your mentors/research group.
